Defending Tomorrow’s Freedom Today – The Freedom Library – Yuma, Arizona
Help our youth and others understand the real meaning of Individual Liberty and the Freedom Philosophy in order to make a better, more peaceful world for all of us.
The Mission: To promote an understanding and acceptance of the Freedom Philosophy and the principles of liberty as expounded in The Declaration of Independence and The United States Constitution, including the concepts of free markets, private property and limited government and the moral and intellectual principles which form the basis of a free society.
To meet these challenges, The Freedom Library:
Library: Offers books, CD’s and cassette tapes to be checked out for personal use, and is available as a meeting place for small groups.
Discussion Society: Sponsors The Yuma Freedom Discussion Society, which meets on the third Thursday of each month in The Freedom Library. Meetings provide an educational forum for the Yuma Community. All interested parties are encouraged and welcome to participate in the discussion of Individual Liberty and the Freedom Philosophy at these meetings.
Liberty Moment: Publishes a weekly “Liberty Moment” column on the opinion page in The Yuma Sun each Wednesday.
Scholarships: Sponsors The Freedom Library Education Program. The Program helps all participants earn scholarships to further their education, while they learn and understand the Freedom Philosophy and the value of Individual Liberty
