Class begins Tuesday, January 24, 6-8 pm at The Freedom Library, 2750 S. Pacific Avenue, Yuma, AZ   85365

The class is free of charge.  There is only a $30 refundable deposit for the textbook.

Come learn about the exciting message the founders gave us, the United States Constitution.

Scholarships will be awarded for participating in this program at The Freedom Library Awards Ceremony April 24.

The Freedom Library has many activities scheduled for 2012 including the arrival of Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry April 24.

To begin the year, though, please come on down to Lutes Casino (Where the Elite Meet) for dinner, 221 Main Street in downtown Yuma, Arizona on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 4-8 pm when The Freedom Library takes over Lutes Casino.

Lutes Casino has been gracious enough to contribute a portion of all dinner sales during  that time to The Freedom Library Education and Scholarship Program.

So bring your appetite down to Lutes Casino to support individuals in their education of ideas on liberty.

Just a last minute reminder to attend tomorrow’s very powerful presentation of, “The Power of Good”.  It is a great story about what only one person can do in the cause of liberty.  Mr.Nicholas Winton, a 29 year old stockbroker saved the lives of 669 kids from the Holocaust.

Stop by Tuesday, December 6, at the Arizona Western College Campus Community Center, 7 pm for what will be a very powerful and enlightening evening.  Doors open at 6 pm.

The Freedom Library will award its scholarships.  Raffle prize tickets and books, proceeds from which go to The Freedom Library Scholarship Program, will also be available for sale.

The Freedom Library Education Forum offers a recorded videotaped presentation featuring Judge Andrew P. Napolitano on “Do We Still Have A Constitution?”  His presentation will give everyone a tremendous insight into the United States Constitution in just 50 minutes.

Following the recorded videotaped presentation, a four member panel composed of Luis Acle, Theresa Ulmer, Judge Maria Elena Cruz, and Judge John Nelson will comment on the talk and address any questions from the audience.

Miss Melanie Alameda will perform and those attending will have the opportunity to receive a free booklet explaining “The Great Myths of the Great Depression” and to purchase books and raffle tickets to support The Freedom Library Education and Scholarship Program.

If you want an exciting, fun-filled, educational evening, the Yuma Historic Theatre is the place to be on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2011 at 7 PM.

There is no charge to attend.

The Freedom Library is seeking sponsorships to help defray some minimum expenses that will be incurred in the presentation of both events.  The Freedom Library is a 501 c 3 education organization under IRS guidelines.  All contributions can be made either online at The Freedom Library website www.freedomlibrary.org or can be mailed to The Freedom Library at 2750 S. Pacific Avenue Suite B, Yuma, AZ   85365

The Freedom Library is also seeking contributions to purchase a copy of the text used in The Freedom Library Constitution class for all of the high school libraries in the Yuma area and for each Yuma County library branch.  The cost of the textbook is $30. 

The Freedom Library is looking for individuals who can volunteer some of their time to help with The Freedom Library events as well as to do filing in The Freedom Library.  Please contact The Freedom Library at info@freedomlibrary.org for more information.

In addition, The Freedom Library is looking for a Marketing/Fundraiser Coordinator.  If you are interested in working from home, have lots of people skills, and enjoy being a commissioned independent contractor, this may be the position you are looking for.  Submit a resume to The Freedom Library at info@freedomlibrary.org.
